Hello Friends and Family of Tracy Vatnsdal!
We are excited to announce Dickinson State University will be hosting a Strike Out Cancer Awareness Weekend with a 4-game conference series with Dakota State on April 11th and 12th, 2025. Tracy’s son, Kade, is a member of the team, and DSU will be honoring Tracy prior to game one on Saturday April 12th at 12PM MDT and he will throw out the first pitch.
In conjunction with this event, we are organizing a T-shirt fundraiser to support Tracy and his family. The proceeds from the T-shirt sales will go directly to the Vatnsdal family to help cover travel expenses for Tracy’s medical visits to Houston. As many of you know, Tracy has been traveling to MD Anderson for regular check-ups and treatments, requiring trips every three months.
The T-shirts will be available for purchase at $25 each, and we would love for everyone to show their support by wearing them during the DSU game. Please place your orders by March 26th to ensure you receive your T-shirt in time for the event. A big shout-out to KT Design in Scobey for their incredible work in designing and printing the shirts. Kim has been fantastic to work with, and we greatly appreciate her contribution.
For those who cannot attend the game, we encourage you to wear your T-shirt on April 11th and/or 12th and post a picture on Tracy’s Facebook page to show your support.
